Romain Wedge Salad with Bacon and Blue Cheese - Pinch and Swirl

This Romaine Wedge Salad with Bacon and Blue Cheese is a healthy salad that tastes great thanks to the bacon and blue cheese. The flavors and textures go well together, and your taste buds will be happy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400F 200C

Lay the bacon strips on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy

Remove from the oven and let cool, then crumble the bacon into small pieces

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce head, then cut it into 4 equal wedges

Arrange the lettuce wedges on serving plates

Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the lettuce wedges

Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and scatter them over the lettuce

Add the thinly sliced red onion on top

Drizzle ranch dressing over the salad wedges

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of everything

Season with salt and black pepper to taste

Serve immediately and enjoy
