Salted Chocolate Caramel Knot

Indulge in the perfect blend of sweet and salty with these Salted Chocolate Caramel Knots. They are incredibly easy to make using refrigerated croissant dough and are sure to satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of refrigerated croissant dough
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions:

Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F

The chilled croissant dough should be unrolled onto a sanitized surface and divided into individual triangles

Top each triangle with a small amount of chocolate chips and a teaspoon of caramel sauce

To make each triangle into a knot resembling a croissant, roll up each one beginning at the wide end

Arrange the knots on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet

For a golden finish, beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the knot tops

Give each knot a small pinch of sea salt

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted and the knots are golden brown, in a preheated oven

Take out of the oven and allow it to cool down a little before serving

If you want to add even more decadence to the knots, drizzle some extra caramel sauce over them
