Thinly sliced ribeye steak is cooked to perfection with melted pepper jack cheese, sautéed jalapenos, and onions. Served on toasted slider buns, these mini sandwiches are a delicious addition to your game day or party menu.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise and ketchup for topping

Instructions:

Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat

Add the sliced onions and cook until they become translucent, about 2-3 minutes

Add the minced garlic and sliced jalapeno peppers to the skillet

Cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant

Push the onion, garlic, and jalapeno mixture to one side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the other side

Season the steak with chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper

Cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping the steak slices occasionally, until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness

While the steak is cooking, split the slider buns and place them face down on the grill or griddle to toast for about 1 minute, or until they are lightly browned

Once the steak is cooked, evenly distribute the shredded pepper jack cheese over the top of the steak and cover the skillet for about 1 minute to melt the cheese

Assemble the sliders by spreading mayonnaise and ketchup on the toasted buns

Then, add a portion of the cheesy steak mixture on each bun

Top with the sauted onions, jalapenos, and garlic mixture

Serve the spicy jalapeno cheese steak sliders hot and enjoy
