Rocky Road Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a square 8-inch baking dish
To melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a bowl that can go in the microwave, add them one at a time and stir them around every 30 seconds
Beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a different bowl until they are well mixed
Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the egg mixture while stirring it all together
Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and mix just until everything is mixed together
Add the chopped walnuts and mini marshmallows and mix them in
Cover the baking dish with foil and pour the batter into it
Spread it out evenly
In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with wet crumbs on it
Let the brownies cool all the way in the pan before you cut them into squares
