Gluten-Free Soft Pretzels

You can enjoy the classic soft pretzel taste without the gluten. These gluten-free soft pretzels are chewy and tasty, so you can eat them as a snack or as an appetizer at any time.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions:

Gluten-free flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl

Warm up some olive oil and add it to the dry blend

Mix until you get a dough

Place the dough on a surface that has been lightly floured

Work it for five minutes to make it smooth

Cut the dough into equal pieces, and then roll each piece into a rope

Make a pretzel shape out of each rope

Bring water to a boil in a big pot

Put baking soda in

For 30 seconds, carefully dip each pretzel into the boiling water

Then, put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Mix an egg and sprinkle coarse sea salt on top of each pretzel

Set the oven to 425F 220C and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown

Let it cool down a bit before you serve
