Spicy BBQ Bacon Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Season both sides with salt and pepper
Place the bacon slices on the grill and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side
Remove and drain on paper towels
Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or longer for your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of grilling, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and close the grill to melt the cheese
While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill until they are lightly browned
In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and mayonnaise to create a special sauce
Assemble the burgers: Spread the BBQ-mayo sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun
Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese
Add a slice of bacon, red onion, and pickles
Top with the other half of the bun
Serve your Spicy BBQ Bacon Burgers hot with your favorite side dishes
Enjoy
